Aethyra is a free, open-source mmorpg.

We are not run by a company just a team of people who enjoy what we do. We are always looking for more people to come and join us at Aethyra. Even if you are not interested in pixeling art for us. You can just play the game, hang out with a very friendly and interesting community, create maps, or even just critique our current art.

Aethyra is a free game, so our team goes unpaid. We do not take donations, no money is ever involved with game development. The reconstruction phase has begun. The great shift between a temporary world to a beautiful pixel art landscape has arrived upon us. Only one tileset is being transferred to the new world. New and beautiful tilesets are on their way. We just need a few more artists to help out.
