Wanted to make something up for a friend of mine, and she has an OC...so I sort of went for it.



However, I dunno about parts of it; for instance, the shoes look very amaturish to me. Additionally, I really want to make a background but am intimidated by the idea -- and have no clue what it would be of. I was going to flake out and just do some abstract musical notes, but am up for better compositional suggestions. xD

I am rather fond of her hair, though perhaps it needs a darker outline of some sort...

yeah, the glasses dont show up much. and when i zoom in the left lens looks maybe a bit too close to the nose? hard to judge, really, but maybe moving it over one pixel to the left would look better, but I'm not sure.

I've got nothing really for the background but if you do go for musical notes I'd say make them in a swooping curve behind her or something. Definitely give them some sort of direction and not just sitting about the figure.

The right foot also bugs me a little. it doesnt seem to be in line with the knee, so maybe turn the knee slightly to the right?
