A year has passed since the four heroes brought down the tyranny reign of the  Doringti brothers. Not all is peacefully though. Many people fled to the northern reaches of Algerath to where the elves lived. Some people lived among the ogres, but they didnt last very long. the southern areas of Algerath have become to wild and over run with fiends and have become uninhabitable for humans to live there. Some humans still live in what is now called "The wilderness" and rumors of those people seeing the heroes Crild, Gremlock and Nonium had reached ever corner of the globe. Rumors state that Nonium journeys to each end of the earth to find Dei's Soul and to bring her back so she may live with him forever. But that is only a rumor there is no proof that any one of the heroes are still alive from their gruesome battle with the Doringti brothers.
So much blood from that battle caused the sea to be tainted with blood and it hasnt changed sense the battle.


The war between the Elves and the Ogres still rages on. This war seems as though it will never end. It is like Gremlock and nonium's actions have not taken control of this world's view of eachother. Maybe you have a chance to end this war...or to keep it going. Maybe the Gods havent left us yet...

Gods
The gods shape and control the outcome of Algerath. If the people stray from the Gods then Algerath shall endure pain and suffering, but if the peopler follow the Gods Algerath shall prosper and be blessed.

Zinook, The God of Destiny and Fate.
One night Zinook was speaking with his father. "Father why have i been born?"
"Because with the support of Diana i have created you."
"but what is my destiny?"
"I do not know." My father replied shrugging his shoulders.
"Then who Knows?" Zinook questioned.
"You do." My father walked outside and Zinook followed him.
"the sky is beautiful tonight." Zinook stated.
"It is indeed." My father looked at me. "You will seldom end up where you wanted to go, but almost always end up where you need to be." he put his hand on my head. " dont worry about finding your destiny." He pulled me closer. "Because your destiny will find you."

Pray system: Ever thought about praying to one of the gods? asking for wealth, fame, power or love? well you have your chance now!
Ownership: Yes your able to own stuff. What stuff you might ask? well you can own Houses(yes more than one),Inns(only one), and maybe other stuff :) !

Eye Candy!


Now this wonderful piece of artwork is going to be the main menu GUI.
It is currently in works because Devo is working on it.
It will be in this style tho. and once its completely finished i will post the results here.

What Help do we need?

Well all sorts of help will be needed and appreciated.
but i do need pixel artists.

Pixel artists that are experienced with working on tilesets
i have a few artwork recolering done
and i would like them to branch off with that and go along with that style.

im allways excepting Programmers (sadscript,Vb6,Java)
we will probably need alot judging how big this game is going to be.

If you have a band, or if your good with music (rock,hip-hop,techno)
then we need you!
the basic music in Algerath is usually some old school beats that give the feel of adventure.

If you are good at animation(2d or 3d) we need you to help us with the trailers and teasers.
your 3d animation doesnt need to be completely epic. it just needs to look good :). as for 2d; scrolling pictures flashing words and such like that is all i need :).

REMEMBER this project needs to be done in 3-4 years
we will take time to work on this project so it can be something that we all will remember and love.
