Topic: Two-faced WIP

This challenge is a big one for me as I suck at the human face. I was going to go the easy route and just do my usual cartoon look but then I realized the whole point of a challenge is to push your comfort zone and CHALLENGE yourself. So anyway, this is my first attempt, I know that there is a ton of work needed. I've established the basic idea and the palette and started the shading. C&C not only appreciated but needed. Thanks,

BTW, this is supposed to be a guy with an Apple Macintosh SE grafted onto his head.

Cleaned up a few stray pixels that the upload inserted (photobucket is acting up). Also did some basic cleanup, once the head is okay I'll work on the shirt and background.

I suggest some different skin colors. This guy looks like he has no skin, just flesh only. Add some yellowish, compare with other skin colors in the pixel joint gallery, and read this!

As for the monitor, think of a way how it could become connected better, and become part of the whole thing, instead of that it just is placed next to it, with a line inbetween.

The head is quite narrow. The eyes are quite far to the outside, and the eyes are not in the vertical center...

Thanks, that should keep me busy for a while. I'll work on the proportions and colors first, I'm not sure how I'm going to get the two halves to meet better though. I may do the corrections on this and then change the non-human half to something else that works better. Anyway, thanks for all of the tips.

Eyes go in the MIDDLE of the head (vertically). Yours are way too high up. And the head is not just an oval! It is a much more complicated shape:
