well, for the first thing, welcome to Pj.
now, i feel like that the very first thing i would like to point you is to work ongetting a concept, an idea, rather than sticking the first thing that comes out of your mind, in order to properly "produce" the art-stuff thing. srurely there are pixel art elements on your piece, but for your own achievement as an art producer, i do encourage you to develop more your drawings. what does that mean? to not throw a few lines and shapes out of your mind into the canvas and color them randomly. not like this could be bad, but when you present it to the rest, doesnt really show any kind of merit and/or effort. even the most simple pixels have some sort of basis, a structure, and a concept behind(this may sound extremely complicated, but its simpler than it looks). and in any moment this is related in how you draw your stuff, or how you express your ideas. it doesnt have anything to do with "quality". you have a man, poping a cannon on his arm shooting green bubbles. its its clear thats that, but it feels that you put more effort on decorating that font than rather on the poor stickman. what i mean, using your image as the example, is that both the stickman, the cannon and the scene in general are weak in terms of desing, in terms of actually putting your time in giving the stickman a proper body and being worried on how it looks(as if everything was made for the lulz-wich is something you should avoid, sice day one. not because its srs bsns, but because it makes it look bad-) there are plenty Pixel art and drawing tutorials on the net you shuld try to follow and use as a guide(i know reading tutorials sucks but there are some wich are quite good to follow and doesnt end being a massive declaration of unnecesary stuff). if you still need help on specific topic or anything in general, go ahead, this is the place and we're here for that. PS: Pixel art is a time consuming activity that might seem overly complicated at first. but if you can keep working in your skills and technique over time, you'll soon notice how you make progress. don't feel discouraged if you fail or you get rejected. instead, work even more, and keep practicing until you can be proud of what you do. we all started from scratch.
