Is there anywhere a tutorial about creating a side walk cycle of 4 frames?
Thank you for any help you could provide |

I don't know of any tutorials, but you could take a look at some
sprites of GameBoy (Advance) games, to see how it's done there. I
suggest The Shyguy Kingdom, that site has a lot of sprites.

Originally posted by ElvenProgrammer Hmm yeah I know this one, but is more than 4 frames... A 4 frame walk anim can be made with 3 frames - 1) Feet together, arms at side 2) Left leg and right arm forward 3) Right leg and left arm forward Anim runs frames 1, 2, 1, 3, 1, 2... To make it a bit smoother, you could always split frame 1 into 2 frames and have them as "just starting to move legs forward" Hope this helps |

alright, four frames... font leg: 1-leg bent, moving forward front arm:
I'm just going through it in my head.. maybe I'll make an example, I'm sure you'd be able to figure out how to move the opposite limbs. hope this helps. |
