I think this is coming along really well.. But the fact that the colors of the other eagle are the same as the main eagle doesn't look quite right. In images something that is more distant has a lighter coloring, as this is seems to be a clear day it would be a bluer shade of the browns...

 If you Google landscape images you can see the  best examples in those how this works and how different weather conditions would call for different colors..  Here are two examples I found quickly..

While these are landscapes and paintings if you look at photos and out a window you should see the same effects.. It just adds the realism of distance.. :)
