What's the quickest way to get a count of colors used in a piece?  Thanks,

Graphicsgale has an inbuild function, MTpaint has an inbuild function, or you could upload your image and (if it is an properly indexed palette drawing) check out your color count on

you can also use an image viewer, like Irfan Viewer (it's free)

choose Image > Information, or just press the "I" shortcut key, and there you have it!
