Okay so id like to make dark magician sprite but not too sure
about the anatomy seeing that it's my weakness! here's the wip so far ![]() |

I'd say there's not enough hue shifting on the skin and that the lighter blue tones are too saturated, Purple -> Blue ramps can be tricky in getting the effect right. There's probably one or two too many blues and one too many skin tones, the skin's a titchy area and the blue lacks contrast.

Block out the body first with random (or not) colors, and then work the details on top of that. If you just work top to bottom adding the details to the suit you're gonna screw up the proportions big time.
For example, look at his shoulder pads. The red arm looks like it's floating out in space not attached to his torso because his shoulder is way too low and way too far on the side. So start with a loose and light "skeleton" of sorts, to make sure that all the limbs and other body parts are in the right place, and then detail them. I'd say save color tweaking for last, but just a note - right now you're overdoing the dithering and details in color making such a tiny piece too textured making it look less readable, so clean that up as well. |
