An otter someone wanted on a site..obviously it's in a bit of a messy stage..I just feel like I can't get the back right. Not really sure if I even like these colors.
 Not to mention i should probably to make this look like otter fur/light source..the more I look at this the more I find I should've..noticed earlier. Edited by cassiechihuahua - 12 June 2009 at 9:01pm |

I think its pretty awesome so far. The color choice is very good too.
The fur is not exactly like an otter's fur (more like a squirrel or something, I donno), but I say you go ahead and finish, as its looking really cool so far. |

the palet needs to be darker (otters are more chestnut brown the ochre as you have him now) also, since otterfur is usually wet the difference between highlight and body is very large giving a stark contrast.
and the drooping ears make him look very very sad... but this might be intentional (is it meant for an: "every time a person uses internet speak in a real life situation god kills an otter!" kind of thing?) i really like his paws though, and i see nothing wrong with his anatomy |
