Pixel Joint Forum: Question about paint programs for Macs

   I noticed there's a lot of paint programs out there for pixeling.  However there seems to be very few of them that seem to have a halftone pattern palette for dithering.  In my search though, I couldn't find any of them that were on the Macintosh.

Does anyone know of any paint programs for the Mac that have this particular feature?

	Thanks for pointing that one out to me. Is that the only one for Macs though?

	As far as I can tell. Just about the only pixel-art-specific apps for Mac are Grafx2 and Pixen. I don't remember if Pixen has the feature you asked about, but it's been a dead project for years and it's horribly buggy. Expect regular crashes resulting in data loss. It wouldn't be worth using even if it did, is my point. Side note: if you're using Leopard, Grafx2 will crash on launch. The bug's been reported, but in the meantime you'll have to download an older version.
