   Show earliest pixelart/digital art of yours you can find! Tell when it was done and comment it somehow. 

I'll start.

This one is dated 11.10.1999 and probably my first creation in PaintBrush. I knew about PaintBrush since my first experience with Windows in 1994, but I don't remember that painted anything, at least worth saving. Then in 1996 it was Robotlandia learning package at school which featured program similar to Paint. I remember that I got 5 (highest mark, although it was your essential beginner's MS Paint epic) for painting the picture of robot from TV programme "Cybernet". It was not saved, but I still got sketch that I drew before translating it into program. And then there is VECTOR, which was drawn on computer at parent's work, featuring hero of one of my favourite Sega Mega Drive games.

	This is the earliest piece of pixel art I can find at the moment (circa 2004) It was done for some collab over at the old Pixelation. I know I should have some stuff from at least 10 years back but I just can't find any of it, so this will do for the time being.

	I like this topic. Too bad I have nothing to show for myself. (My old comp died ages ago.) T_T But it was a huge drawing with smiley people, kinda like the guy in my sig. It was really huge about 1000 x 1000 pixels. It was a pixelated version of Where's Waldo, just without Waldo. XD

	Oh my God, it's so painful. This was genuinely (as far as my memory best serves) my very first effort at pixelling from scratch. At least attempting to pixel seriously. I did have a few hapless goes at it on my old Amiga. I'm amazed I still have it, but I couldn't resist putting it here so it can be admired, respected, complimented and critiqued to your hearts are all content. In defence of this piece, my monitor of the time was duff and didn't show colours properly. For years I happily carried on working with colours that looked good on that monitor and that monitor alone. It was a horrible shock and disappointment when I got a new one. 	Actually, this is my first piece, which I called "dance performance for an ageless monster": I never considered this as my first pixel piece (even if there's something cool like different size pencil stuff and patterned dithering, and stars from good old Apogee games), but well, it is! Oh, I forgot this sprite: Funny topic.

	This is not my first one, but one of the earliest I have one this computor, It's from early 06. As you can probably see, it relies pretty heavy on PB's old portrait tutorial :P these two guys both use 16 colors btw. Edited by Reo - 10 June 2009 at 9:43am

	lol my first pixel art ever done: my 2nd one: and my 3rd one: I had this obsession with spriting and the first week that I started I spent 8hrs a day just making pixel art... 	That's the oldest thing on this computer. Dated from 06. Shortly after, I did a godawful self portrait which I'm too embarrassed to post. I made a WIP thread for it here if you're really curious. You can also see me acting like a stubborn noobish douchebag. Good fun. Anyhoo, there's even older stuff on my dad's Amiga I made when I was like 10, but I've no way to get it.
