Sup guys, I've been tasked with finding an external artist to do some Spritework for a free iPhone game that is hopefully being launched before the end of the month.

Our company is Nanotalons, LLC, based in South Florida, and we've been working with the iPhone since January of this year. We're nearly ready to release our first real game this July and another one later this summer.

The job consists of creating some 21x21 pixel sized sprites for a falling block style game, sort of like Dr.Mario and PuyoPuyo. There are two types of sprites, Demons, and Runestones, and there are three variations of each.

Demons come in three different colors: purple, red, and orange. Each color of demon should look distinct, but they must all have some form of horns, glowing eyes, and a little pointy goatee. Some programmer art is available as a reference to give you a better idea of what we mean. The demons will have idle animations and dying animations for now.

Runestones look like stones with a symbol carved on them corresponding to a specific color of demon. The carving comes in the color of it's respective demon. Runestones have two animation states, a static idle state and a glowing state where the symbol on the stone gives off a pulsating glow.

In addition to these sprites, two more types of animations are needed. One is a sort of "poof" effect where a cloud of dust expands and disappears, this can be in a slightly larger 35x35 pixel frame. And the other animation is a similar magical explosion effect, also in a 35x35 pixel size frame.


The job of course is paid and the payment can be discussed through email correspondence. Your name can also be included in the game's credits along with one link to a website if you wish.
