Pixel Joint Forum: Avatars rejected

I made these little Hypnosquares for me to use as avatars rather than to show them off as gallery artwork, but because I had to add them to the gallery first, I feel they have been rejected as gallery pieces and not just a simple little avatars for me.
I'm new to pixel art, especially animating it, and what may take the very gifted artists among us seconds to create will take me a lot longer.
These were the second things I have ever animated before.

How could I improve on these so they would be accepted as avatars.
Any help and critisism is very welcome.

	Well, right now they dont show up in the gallery, but you can still be using it as avatar. You are doing it right now. :P But I dont know what you would improve. They are really simple, yet there is not much you can add to them.
