Hello, I am a game developer and flash game portal owner.  I'm looking for a talented artist, that can help me with some original graphics for my next game.  

I'm planning a 16-bit style game with sprites, tiles and backgrounds similar to SNES Super Mario World so I have a lot of work that I need, but I would like to find the right one or two artists that I can work with first so, here is the initial project to consider...

I need a set of sprite frames for the main playable character.   The scale of the sprite would be about 15 pixels wide by 30 tall.   Solid background color, no more than 255 colors. A minimum of 8 different poses are needed.   The walking frames and other frames should animate nicely.  I'll flip the set of poses to create left and right facing poses.      

3 (or 4) walking
1 jumping
1 (or 2) falling
1 ducking
2 dying

The character should be a cross between Mario and an army infantry man or Rambo, and should be original, not just a Mario edit.

Payments will be via PayPal only.   I can use Mass Pay so that you will receive the full amount with no fees.

I've decided that it may be useful for me to have multiple versions of this character, so I plan to hire and pay more than one artist for this project so that I can better evaluate all the work for subsequent projects.    So if interested, please contact.
