	To set transparency in gale check transparency and the color you want to be transparent in the Frame Properties Dialogue Box. (Click the ... button on the frame toolbar to bring up the Frame Properties Dialogue Box. I think you made a good start you should now define a light source and try adding some shading, and practice smoothing the curvy lines with anti-aliasing. Check out the tutorials here.
