A few professional software developers are making a homebrew game and need the services of an artist. 

We need some original standard animated sprite work.  The style is more of the common cartoony/fantasy style - the game quality comes from solid multiplayer and progression achievements.  It does not have to be cutting edge, but beyond SNES level. 

Payment can be rendered for each completed spritesheet.  The price will have to be negotiated; however, we are aware of the time it takes to create them and do not expect to pay pennies per hour of work.

Ok first of all it was posted 9 months ago I think they found someone already
and to be honest after seeing your 1 Wip work I dont think you are ready for work no offense
first draw at least 30 pixel art pieces and if you get good enough then you can try looking for a job
even I dont have good enough skills to be paid(well I will try that 1 job)so as I said people wont pay for your work if it is not very good...

feel free to post them in the Wip forum.You will get some very helpful critique.I was like you 1 year ago but I have been practicing and now I am getting better.Remember, if you want to be good in pixel art always look for critique, be patient, try new things and dont be afraid to change your drawings dramatically if needed.

I am with pipe on that too but i am not going to do 2 full sprite sheets for free and i got to make a the character out of thin air, H No!
