Hey,

I'm a programmer (C, C++, Python, Ruby, etc.) and I'd like to make a simple retro style bottom-up shmup game for pc. I'm not sure wether it will be freeware or shareware in the end. If it will be commercial there will be a fair payment of course (coder 33% pixel artist 33% musician 33%)!

The decision wether it will be a raiden-like space shooter or a 1942-like war shooter is up to the pixel artist. I'd leave the whole graphical design to the pixel artist too. I'd love to have multi-layer background (ground, clouds, ...) and moving tanks/ships/etc on the ground.

BUT: Everything is up to discussion. You got a great idea for a another genre game (shooter, platformer, rpg)? You got ready made game content? You got everything but a coder? Great! Let's talk about it. I'm open for ideas. I just want to make quality retro style games. Commercial or free. For a first game I'd prefer something not too big.
