I've started programming an art tool, geared towards pixel art.
It already has everything paint has, but I need something to make it more useful than just having the basics. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Planned features: Animation Support Color counter Load images to use as pallets As many windows that let you view the image at different sizes as needed 2D bone support (Not good for pixel art, but I will eventually add this in) Pallet switching (Changes set of colors to another set of colors) Basic Plugin Support Thanks for reading, and once again I'd like to hear any ideas you might have. |

I suggest that you check Charamaker1999, it is like ms paint, only more advanced and user friendly. There is one thing that could make your application a blast, and that is that you follow at the very least one simple example from Cm1999, which is to be able to extract color from the image by using right click, and left click to use it. That way you don't have to waste time grabbing colors just to erase something, instead it's right there.
Well here's the link to download the program: http://crankeye.com/downloads/CharacterMaker%201999.zip Read / follow the 1-2 box instructions once you open the program. And here's a video of the program in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsTSrruzQF8 |
