I need some very basic instructions on setting up my pixeling workspace using Photoshop CS. How can I prepare an image to be 8, 16, 32 and etc. colors. How can I restrict or setup my palette so when I save it out, the right colors and palette are saved in the right format. link section of the gallery The simple way is to make a layer with whatever colors you want to use (palette) and just eye-dropper them and use the pencil tool. When saving use 'save for web' to insure proper output...but don't cheat using this, k. You can also 'export' color table > then upload those colors to your color window and using 'index colors' only those colors will be available. Such is Photoshop...many ways to go about it. Find the ones that make you comfortable. |
