I am looking for a competent pixel artist for contract work on a few iPhone games.  I will pay. 

I am looking to spend around $10-15/hour, depending on how fast you work.

Please send links to sample work, and if possible, for one sample sprite sheet let me know how long it took you to do, so I can get an idea of how much you are going to cost me.  Ideally, for each bit of work, I'd like to just work out ahead of time how much I will need to pay, rather than try to do hourly because that always ends up a mess.

I have done several iPhone and iPad games in the past, using my own (limited) artwork.  You can search the app store for "Glowdot" to see examples.
