dpixel: I definitely don't think you should scrap the whole thing! It's still worth finishing! I think it would be a good piece even if you ignored the suggestions--I was just trying to give some ideas/input.

Awesome idea. Really really awesome idea. Shoulders look way to broad though. Finish this!
And the other one too, so you can get two awards. |

It wasn't your suggestions, although I do agree with them (except I don't think a husband would be allowed in this challenge...lol). It was more seeing some of the great WIPs made me rethink my approach and my style. We'll see though. I might make some modifications. |

@jal: Nice stuff! :D The tats move around a bit from age to age, maybe make the oldest really heavily tattooed. Another thing for the 80 year old could be a kiwi feather cape?
EDIT: The above was of course for the Maori warrior :P UPDATE: ![]() Edited by Jeremy - 10 September 2010 at 6:02am |

Jal, you should submit every single one of those. After finishing, of course. And then get some sort of badge like "Most challenge entries in a weekly challenge". And also win the first 3 prizes.

I'll rofl if he gets 1, 2, 3 The most pieces was Metaru with something like 12 one week. I did 7 pieces for se7en's challenge. I think pain won 1-2-3 one week. I'm not entering any this week. I just keep messing around cuz this challenge has so many easy ideas to tell age. Maybe I'll make some huge 'It's a Small World' thing with every tribe I can find...I also have aborigines and an Amazon jungle tribe half doodled...may post :p |

@jalonso:yeah I'm not quite happy with the background dithering too.. I'll think in something else.. (by the way your studies are awesome, really clever way of showing time passing!)
@T-Min: wow I luv it! Thank you for taking your time! I'll definitely try it! |

@all: Pain got a 1-2 victory in the calendar contest, but it was found that he colour reduced some of his pieces (and lied about using references, etc.). So he's banned :P
Yours truly got the 12-entry, in that same contest funnily enough. Jumping on the submit bandwagon, jal :> |
