I've noticed that a lot of people try to make Pokemon MMORPGs and they end up being closed down due to copyright.  What I am starting is an MMORPG that takes the core systems of Pokemon and creating a new story with new characters and new monsters.  This will avoid the copyright issues that most face.  I'd like to start by first creating the new monsters for the game.  On top of a pixel artist I would like someone who is creative in story lines, monster ideas, NPCs, etc.  I think for the time being the 4 trees should be Earth, Fire, Wind, Water.  To create a simple system of bonus's and weaknesses.  If the project takes off in the direction we hope for later 'expansions' could involve new breeds of monsters.  At this time there is no funds for me to pay an artist but I'm hoping to come up with a nice system that can bring in money without hindering peoples game play if they cannot afford to.  If this occurs which I plan on it happening, I would pay for the server and the rest of the raised money would be split between the team, I will not receive money other than to pay for the server.  If anyone has extra ideas or would like to join the team as another coder I would be more than happy to speak to you.
