CHALLENGE: Mid-Canvas Void

Use the grid template below to create an image. However, the middle section of the canvas (the magenta part) must stay one single solid colour. Any colour is fine; it doesn't need to be magenta. (I think we've already had enough magenta anyway!)

The theme for this challenge is fruit. Any type of real-life fruit, and any way of presenting the theme is fine, just as long as it clearly adheres to the theme of fruit.

Canvas Size - Use template:

Colours - Unrestricted. Keep in mind though, that the middle section must only be one colour.
Transparency - No.
Animation - No.

CHALLENGE RULES

• Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
• Only new pixels allowed.
• Open to all members.
• Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

Eek, I think I need to more clearly specify that it doesn't need to be magenta. The middle colour can be absolutely anything you want - green, orange, white etc...

Well I really wanted to use a colour that stands out and magenta is also frequently used as a placeholder background colour.

Hm...so how about something like this?

Wow, that's a though challenge...

Very unique. I think I know what I am gonna do... its pretty though though.

Just want to say that the middle of the canvas doesn't necessarily need to be the middle of a fruit. The image just needs to fit the theme of fruit, rather than simply having one giant piece of fruit.
