Hello, my name is Catghost I am here on behalf of Midorea.com, an avatar site.
We have been open for over 2 years now with well over 5,000 members, and hope to grow even larger in the years to come. Due to the recent surge in user activity, we are looking for new artists to help expand the content currently available on the site.

Several things you need to know before applying:

Midorea is an avatar site, where users earn currency to buy items that can then be used to dress up their "avatar", or doll. Currency can be earned from either posting or battling monsters in our battle
system. You will be asked to create items such as animals, weapons, clothing, jewelry, staffs and other accessory type things.
Often, artists will be asked to create monthly items for the site. Monthly Items are sold for $2USD each.
We wish to keep a unified pixel style for the avatars, so please be aware of this when including examples of your past work. If you're style varies greatly from that of ours, you usually will not be considered. Some examples of our style can be seen at the bottom of this thread.
We try to work closely with our artists, providing concepts and detailed descriptions whenever they are needed. We love to hear ideas and feedback from the artists, and also encourage them to join the site.
We
also need you to be able to meet strict deadlines. If you think you
cannot finish what is asked of you in time, then please have the
courtesy to let us know in advance.
Items will also need to be pixeled to fit both male and female bases -

	Hello everyone. I just became aware of a small problem with the email I had listed earlier. (webmaster@midorea.com) The problem was that emails being sent to and from this address were not going through properly. I am going to send replies to all of the emails that I did get, so you should receive a reply from me by the end of the week.
