I am an experienced web developer looking to hire a dedicated, intelligent, and highly imaginative 2d pixel artist to create 8-bit to 16-bit tiles and sprites for an online web application. This game will utilize the emerging standards like HTML5, CSS3, and Google App Engine to create an experience that exceeds capabilities previously only possible with Flash. I would be happy to share a design outline in response to serious inquires.

If the applicant is accepted, they will be given a percentage of the site's ownership. This means a paycheck every couple of weeks for the duration of the website. The better you do, the more you get paid! It is HIGHLY preferred but not mandatory that the applicant have a working knowledge of web design (ie HTML and CSS). A working knowledge of JavaScript, Python, Django, AJAX, and/or Google App Engine would be a godsend.
