Hi PixelJoint,
 
Is there such a thing as a Dedicated Black & White Style? For spriting, backgrounds, tiles ect. Also are there tutorials on this style?

Um. I dunno, that seems to be just silhouettes. Look also for "1-bit". As always there's no hard and fast way to do it besides trial and error.

As I remember Paul Robertson the pixel god did that long grayscale animation thats kicking about on youtube. I'd guess theres some info on his livejournal or site over at Mechafetus.

link makes me think you're lookin for more 1bit type stuff (as Jeremy suggested). though tbh i have no idea what you're looking for.

Has pixelfuhrer Robertson ever popped round these parts before? I'm a huge fan of his still work but a hater of anime and all that noseless crap which is odd because he references it a lot.
