Well, on top of being a programmer I also like to think I could be a famous philosopher someday!
Well; what can I say, I just like to think. Here's a couple of things I've said over the years that I feel are pretty good: "If you're searching for something that's there and can't find it, you're doing it wrong." "Adversity brings the worst out of good men, and the best out of great men." "Holding preference for a place or proximity to a person will only hold you back." "If you can't live off of ramen noodles and top pop, you're f**ked when the zombies come." Okay, that last one was a little silly, but still true. Anyone else care to share, or maybe see if I can come up with something witty and/or insightful for their current situation? |

I don't think a handful of truisms count as philosophy.
At least you've still got programming! |

I feel somewhat enlightened.
Keep up the programming dude. :-)
if (nfries88_programs == true;) {
outcome == "best thing to try and do"
} else {
outcome == "suprised everyone with succeeding at being philosopher"
}
I'm just kidding, they were kinda cool. But you can't become a
philospher from that. :P

And, the second sentence i assume it means that the people, instead of using it as hindrance, uses it to succeed in life. Eg, Genghis Khan, who had lived through poverty (Which would be his adversity), disregarded his social status to become one of the most successful leaders. Oh, and with that question. It's been asked so many times by philosophers, psychologists and other professions. |

once my dad taught me:
"some say that a friend is someone who tells you your breath stinks. I answer them that 'a friend is someone who knows when to tell you your breath stinks" but he's the same who told me at a gay pride (he took me when I was 10 jff) "remember son, the bigger the more male" referring to "womens" breasts :O |
