![]() Topic: sprite basic animationPosted: 03 March 2011 at 1:57pm |

hi there! I started only recently (probably less than one month) doing pixel art and specifically I'm doing sprites. I've been commissioned some graphics for various games (mostly rpgmaker battle sprites or charsets), and I got this work for an iPhone game. Since I started only recently I lack experience, and just analizing other peoples works I understood somehow how to reproduce some of the basic animations. I found very interesting the various tutorials I found here on pixeljoint, but I think I might need some advice other than that. So I thought I'd ask here: does someone knows some useful site/good animations to analyze/anything that could be useful in making basic jump, attack, jump etc. animations?
Idleworm's walking tutorial is just awesomely simple and it really helped! thank you in advance ^^ |

oh thanks thats pretty cool.
Making a quick sticky man is a an option I hadn't thought of, I used to copypaste the first frame and modify it, to avoid the various parts of the sprite to look different, but actually that was an error :O |
