Results of my antialiasing practice.
Its pretty easy, but effect is... kind... of... good. I am still just learning. Have you maybe some pictures that I could practice on? : ) |

On the second image the lines feel much thicker than on the first.. Which they are because you added dark brown pixels without removing any black. Next challenge is to make aa'd lines, but without making them thicker!

The biggest problem is that this is isometric pixel art. Isometric pixel art don't really needs AA because it'll blur out the whole image, because all of the base axis would need AA. It looks too much. If you want to practise AA you should do something with shapes and AA the shapes, it's a better practice than this.
If you want to do iso work, here is a quick and simple edit with some things you could change. (added also a little bit more HUE change) ![]() |

I agree that isometric pa does not 'need' AA, but proper AA should not blur it and can still look better.
Still you should highly respect Cyangmou's edit because it shows some other things you can think of next time! |
