Company Info
Curiosity Labs - a small team of 2 programmers. Job Info The game is a sprite-based 2D Gauntlet clone with an angled overhead view similar to Double Dragon or the TMNT arcade game. Strictly 2D sprites and tiles. Code for the game is almost complete and we just need level art and characters at this point. The theme is dark fantasy. To be clear, assets and character sprites are needed, but the majority of the work will be in designing and creating interesting levels. The game is configured to work with Mappy (a tile-based level editor) and allows for artists to drop in tile sheets and create levels without touching the code. Animated and tiles with special properties are currently supported. Duties would include designing/animating simple 8-bit style sprites and tiles for the game. Concept art will be supplied, but there is plenty of room for creative license. We have an internal forum dedicated to brainstorming and discussing ideas. Input is welcome. Paid or not? and salary info? Unpaid. This is a freeware project. You will be credited for your work however. email address natehale9 AT gmail DOT com company website http://supercuriosityblog.blogspot.com/ previous projects http://nateshortsleeve.info/ Company Info We are a small development team of two programmers/artists each with our own projects. The code for this project is almost complete and runs on the PC and Mac. Edited by Spinlock - 10 July 2011 at 3:41am |
