   Clearly I'm not good enough to post on this site.  I spend hours working on submissions just to have them returned with no explanation.  I understood the reasoning for a couple, but I spent much of my precious off time working on "Captain Tradewind" for the last competition.  I did EVERY SINGLE pixel by hand and STILL it is returned.

I'm through.

	I did post an explanation on your piece. This is too scrappy for the gallery in its current state. The shading, particularly on the moon and sails is really scribbly, which was probably due to time restraints? I think it would be worth reshading and tweaking, as your lines are nice. The piece wasn't to the standard shown by the others in your gallery; imo you can do better than that

	the sails were straight oekaki. we're not going to change our gallery rules for one individual. the ship looked fine, I don't understand why the sails (and planet) were so sloppy. adios.
