Hi everyone, my name is Rob Turner and I'm a writer/producer from Polycomical Studios. We're working on a game based on our webcomic Reynard City http://www.reynardcity.com

The game will be a side scrolling beat em up, similar in style to Mega Drive/Genesis games like Streets of Rage (or if you were more into Nintendo at the time Double Dragon).

We have some artists working on it, but we would love the help of people who have worked on similar projects. We have got a Microsoft licensed programmer who will be working on this, as well as some experienced animators, musicians, voice actors and so forth.

The plot is pretty simple- Three superhero foxes (AK Girl, Wondervixen and Hyper Rob) come to Earth to stop the evil Mega Fox and his various robots from taking over Reynard City.

However there are numerous bizarre twists. For example AK Girl inflates on contact with caramel, Wondervixen has body issues and Hyper Rob has to deal with the mockery and flirtation of weird villains like Insect Girl and Warp King.

The estimated time for completion is around six months. With more help from committed people we can make that quicker. Ideally we'd like people who are flexible and prepared to work in a certain style as we need consistency (ask us for samples)

There will be a small payment for your efforts(around $30). There is a limit to the amount we can offer, however I will be happy to offer what I can in terms of a share of sponsorship, a reference for future work and a profile on our website (we'll be adding a Video Game section soon)

If you have any questions you can ask here. Email me reynardcity@gmail.com if you are interested in taking part or want to know more about our project in general.

I don't really understand this job posting. You mention a "fee", but is this fee for the artists? As in, we have to pay you $30 to work on the project? Compensation is sort of vague as well, is this a paying project or not?

You should put [PAID] or [UNPAID] in the topic title like the rest of the job postings.

OK guys I have edited it to make this clear- it is a payment for the artist (I thought that was fairly clear but happy to clarify it). Ideally this'd be through Paypal as I've had problems with mailing stuff in the past.

As I said before any questions about the project I'm happy to answer.
