i'm doing a gui for a vst instrument, and am having trouble with the knobs. i want to animate them with more than just a line, like a graphic on the face of the knob, but don't know how to accomplish this with good results. any one have any experience with this? ideas?

small... like 20-30 maybe 50 pixels for the large ones, and i need as many frames as possible for better control.
