I'm planning to make a sort of group portrait of the thundercats - So far i've made a start on Liono

Please can you give me your thoughts/criticisms because I'm still very new to this

Here's what i have so far...

are you by any chance working from a reference picture? if so please post it for us to see.

the colours look good for now, his right arm has waay too many .. bulging things.. it looks like .. i dunno... bubbling.. lol..

that's all i can describe it as.. i can see what you tried to do and it kinda works but my eyes only see individual bulges instead of them looking like they're bulges as part of the same ligament..

the left foot/ankle is angled awkwardly, try a more frontal direction

his right knee shouldn't bend that far inwards on the right side i think..

and his shin might be too short or it might just be the shape of the leg that's throwing me off..

the logo looks good on the belt, good job, the sword... well.. i'll hold off on that. the hair shape looks about right.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. Here's the source image i'm using:

On reflection, i agree about the muscles - they're a little too defined. The legs i'm struggling with, i think because the source image isn't that great anatomically and the ange is a bit strange.

I'll keep working on it and i'll post an update.

Here's the latest image - how do you think it's coming along? I tried to lighten the muscles so it looked smoother.
