Message

   CHALLENGE: Weight
Pixel something demonstrating an unexpected weight. So, for example, someone being crushed to death by a feather.

Canvas size - Unrestricted.

Colours - Max 20.

Transparency - Optional.

Animation - Optional.
CHALLENGE RULES
Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
Only new pixels allowed.
Open to all members.
Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.
CHALLENGE JUDGING
Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
Winner announced the following week.

CHALLENGE PRIZES/GOODIES
Top three finishers will receive an award displayed in your PJ gallery profile for all to see and envy.
Top finisher gets to call the following week's challenge...sweet.
'Participation' ribbons will be given for all who enter.
No matter what happens you get challenged :)

	I was thinking somebody looking up to see a piano falling on them, the piano blowing up, and a small piece of shrapnel crushing him. We'll see if I actually have time to even start that.

	I don't think you understand. It's not unexpected. Angels have wings anyway. They can "sit" wherever they want, not just a cloud.

	How many pictures have you seen that shows an angels falling through a cloud he tried to sit on? It's expected that an angel will be able to sit on a cloud, even if it is a physical impossibility. What would be unexpected is that an angel falls through the cloud, seeing as how we don't see that many references of angels falling through clouds. This challenge says unexpected weight, not real weight, which would support your case. However, in your case the your view of unexpected is expected, so you have to do the unexpected by doing the expected...wow, that's a little confusing...

	Birds don't sit on clouds because they are a real animal. On a cloud (heaven) is literally the most likely place for an angel to be. Falling through a cloud would be unexpected for an angel.

	@Airstyle I was planning on animating it. It's why I'm questioning whether I'll have time to make it or not... It'll be cool if I do. If not, I'll think of something else that will take less time to make on Saturday :P

	would be cooler if the kid were bumping the sumo guy out with his gut or something. right now I think 'unexpected force' rather than 'unexpected weight', due to the emphasis on the kid's push rather than him displacing the sumo due to mass.

	Yes. I can barely tell what that is, even knowing it's an angel. You might want to make both the cloud and the angel larger so we can really enjoy the hilarity!

	basic WIP. not sure about the palette, i'm kinda just trying random colours as i go. CC would be appreciated. edit: Btw it's an Ark shipwrecked on clouds. There's an angel in the little boat which i might just remove, and focus on the actual ship. edit: still not sure about these colours, but i added some more detail edit: ffs forgot about max 20 colours, i'm at 30 :( edit: nerfed some colours, and the angel.
