Pixel Joint Forum: Monkey WIP

Message

   Doing some of Flaber's lineart.

I wanted the lightsource to be from above but I don't know how the lighter shades should go. I did a rough sketch of where I had an idea on the bigger monkey and did some lighter shades on the smaller one. I'm going to do dithering but I'd like some CC on if I'm going the right way about this. I also plan on replacing the black lines with darker colors and fixing the blue.

	If light is coming from the top, then the head should b4 highlighted a bit too.

The nipples. a monkey can be drawn without thenipples. its the colourer to decide where and how to place them.. colours seem alittle harsh, but perhaps once you actually start colouring and dithering it will help. Not fond of the blue.

	I went and dithered it and made some small changes. eeh.. I dunno. It feels odd still. Like the shadows are wrong. Maybe I over-dithered?

	I liked it the way it was before but the right forarm needed to have some highlights and the head needed some highlighting
