So I have the free version of GraphicsGale as I don't have the money to get the shareware version with the ability to save gifs.

What are the alternative ways of making gifs using GraphicsGale?

Is Avi-to-Gif a good method?

Draw each individual frame and save as PNG. Get Paint.net and open each frame, make the BG transparent, and save each one again as a GIF. Then use Beneton Movie GIF to combine the frames. That is what I do anyways. :\
