• Only new pixels allowed.
• Open to all members.
• Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

Where are the masterpiece generator challenges? =( we are having the 2 worst monthly tops ever...

We don't have an exiting challenge for quite long =(

Still very WIP

What I mean is, the size is too much restricted. I personally like to work on bigger pieces. Well, I am not concerned with the mothly top, I just think the challenges aren't affecting it, past months 80% of the entries were result from challenges! Now, with those not as great challenges, I can say 20% or less are a result from the challenges. What do I mean with it is: we should have more challenges less abstract ( like the glass one ) such as the crepuscular rays one, 4 of the entries on that challenge got near the top ( 11, 12 ) and 2 of them got top 10. We have lots of talented artists, just like you, and drazelic too, but we need better ideas, concept is the most important part in the art in my oppinion. I completely agree with Drazelic and Adcrusher, but the size could be bigger, so each one with your style can join it. Drazelic you said that you can enter those small ones. Well, on the other challenges no one said you coudnt do a small entry =D. Well, I wish I could work on something like this

but the size is very restricted as I mentioned before.

hmmm, when it say "sprite," does it mean moving, playable character or a non-moving, detailed piece?
i'm planning on making Discord, from MLP FiM

I seriously love that Lazengann rendition.

Finally done with my exams! And as a present I get this super cool challenge! I love the batman villains, so I think I'll do a whole series!

I've done these already,

Although I think I'll change Poison Ivy, I rushed her too much.

The next one is... guess who!

First thing to do would be to define what is a masterpiece ;)

I think this challenge is great, I might give it a try but picking a great villain is pretty hard :)

Drawing shiny latex in this size is so hard!

@hlx: I think the main problem is that all the facial features are sitting too tight. Try giving them some more space.

why not? the challenge is to depict your favorite villian, and that's from a game. 

back on PJ (formerly Grimsane(wasn't active long)):D my progress so far, not sure if I'm gonna adjust him some more or leave as is and call it final

Nice stuff Saint11, but it needs to be a sprite (full body), not a portrait.

I had (believe it or not :P) never heard of this villain before finding him on the great invention called Google :) His name is Fin Fang Foom and he is, in short, the Chinese version of Godzilla. Here's a quick lineart of him and my reference.



His legs look funny to me. Are they too short? Bent at an unnatural angle? Comments please
