So I'm toying with the idea to put a (8x10 pixel) skull insignia on the lv5 of a new tower in the next version of Zombie TD. It also represents poison/curse/death.

I've done a bunch of variations and I have a few favorites (for the context)...but I wanna know which one(s) YOU think look best/right.

Feel free to post your own varation(s), I'm always looking for inspiration.

I prefer 4,5 and 7. Having just the cranium (e.g. 4) might be the most readable at a glance.

Yeah, #7 is my fav as it looks grim on the weapon, but I guess #4 is a bit more readable.

@Christoballs: Yeah, that's a nice variation, putting highlights on the "eyebrows" is a neat option.

Took some impressions from Christo & A3um versions and made another two skulls (#13 & 14)

I like no. 4 because of the missing lower jaw and the teeth on it. I also like No. 14 and Christoball's 14.2 because they look great at 100%

Think I'm going with this slight variation of #13 as it looks a little grimmer than #14.


@Mr.Fahrenheit: Good try, but it doesn't read very well as a skull...more like the face of some strange and friendly creature.
