I consider myself a decent pixel artist but I don't have much experience in making environmental textures and I'm working on a snes style game with a programmer friend of mine. Does anyone know of any good write-ups on the subject or some good snes games I can look at. (Secret Mana is the only one off hand I can remember with good tiles.)
