it looks really good, you've only been doing this a year or so? good job :) as for things you should try out, you did best (in my opinion) with the top down sprites, and you could probly do well with some good animations and stuff. if you got good at doing stuff like that i know at least two game programming people (my company included) who would gladly pay you like 20% of their game revenue for sprites, animation and portraits like that. just a thought. :) i hope you do well :)
