Pixel Joint Forum: [CLOSED] Shading

   Ok, So I haven't had a go at Pixel Art in ages and I'm a bit of a noob anyways haha.

I am entering the Weekly Comp, I have my basic idea sorta but have no idea at all how to shade it are what colors I should use. 

I want the face (mask) to look like its engraved in to the emerald (I will work on the emerald once the face looks good).

Please help me if you can :)
