![]() Topic: [PAID] Looking for a pixel artist for a platformerPosted: 13 February 2013 at 10:49pm |

Hello,
I am in need of a pixel artist for the game that I am programming. I tried my luck at drawing some by learning from some tutorials, but I can't magically become proficient over night, so I must resort to having an expert help me out. :) The game is a platformer. I have a reference for what I would like my sprites to look like: (http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/15820.htm). I would like the sprite to be in plain clothes instead of in a suit, in a standard standing stance. I would like the sprite to have a little bit of "body," so that he doesn't appear scrawny and overly thin. For now, I only need one so that I can have a sample. Perhaps with a running animation. The ideal size would be about 48 x 64. Of course, I will pay for this sample. I am unsure of the rates for something like this but I am definitely willing to discuss it. Just to mention, this IS for a commercial product so I do need the rights and ownership of the art.
I may or may not decide to go with that particular size later but you will definitely be paid for what you create... I will also need tilesets in the future.
I'm looking forward to hearing back. Thank you. Sincerely, Steven B Edited by lord2k - 14 February 2013 at 12:01am |
