Pixel Joint Forum: Accents

Message

   I can't name or tag my files with "?" or "?"  on this site.
Everytime I put accents in the name/tag it sh*ts up like this:

Expected: Orig?ne
Result: Origène

Do the webmasters have the intention to fix that?

	Nothing to fix. Pixeljoint = old school pure pixels + old school pure alphabets.

	I'm not asking for it to be done, I'm just saying it should be done, instead of regarded as "Nothing to fix; Pixeljoint = old school pure pixels + old school pure alphabets. " (Which was simply moronic, in my honest opinion. ) Definitely sarcasm? Not sure how you wanted me to know that, but OK, if you say so. I'm a newfag on this site, my intention was only to help the site and let you know that these bugs happened just in case you didn't know, but I can understand if it's not appreciated. Sorry if my english language isn't as good as anyone. I'm still learning english language.

	It's best just not to put anything but English characters + numbers in most stuff here. I'm pretty sure gallery works don't show up if you have foreign characters in filenames, etc. èèèèèèèèèèèèèè

	You might be hyper sensitive and I don't require a reply or care to make a convo out of this, but... PJers (including Mods) are serious about pixelart and mostly light-hearted about everything else. Of course I was being sarcastic. Its not like I said "hieroglyphs" Its real easy to tell when PJers are being sarcastic, silly and light-hearted. 90% of the time when a PJer posts and its not pixelart specific you can safely assume the tone. This might change when Oprah starts pixelling <<< see what I mean ;) BTW, your site and DA are full of accent related typos. Descriminatory...what does that mean? Decriminatory against what? Moronic... That's the first time anyone has called me that but its possible...I'll own it. ---- As mentioned by Jeremy. Accents and other misc characters may intefere with coding terms and certain ones will make the art page truncate or not show. ----

'èèèèèèèèèèèèèè' Seems to have worked this time. But when I posted in the OP, it didn't work. Apparently it fixes itself and bug some time later. Weird. EDIT: @jalonso "Moronic... I'm gonna assume this is sarcasm, since I don't have a site, and what I write on DA (for all the rare times I write on it) is approx. 1/2 english language and that language doesn't need accents.
