   So I was out all last week taking care of a sick wife...

Today, she seems to be good enough to not need me...

So... My alarm goes off at 6:00am, I get up at 7:35am...

Throw clothes on, out the door...

But what do I see when I get to work?

I have the pick of the litter when it comes to parking spaces...

huh?

NO ONE IS THERE...

So I head to the Security Office which is ALWAYS (wo)manned. And one
short conversation later I discover that my presence at the office
today is NOT a requirements since City Personnel do NOT work on MLK
day...

YIPPEEEEE!!!!!

So here I is... This is the first time in my 34 years of breathing that
I have EVER gone to work on a HOLIDAY DAY OFF... Anyone else done this
before???

	Yeah. Actually, yesterday. My friend and I didn't know the bus wasn't running and we waited an hour for it before someone finally told us. Also once the cancelled school because of snow and I sat by the bustop for awhile before someone came out and told me.

	I once did everything an hour early without realising, my alarm went of an hour early and I got to the train station as a train arived and quickly got on and walked all the way to school to find myself way early, was all empty for ages.

	I have pulled myself out of bed on non work days but I always ask myself "am I supposed to work today" just as a check

	i woke up at 7 the other day thinking that i need to be at work at 10, I woke up again at 8:00 and 9:00 (loooove the snooze button) and then remembered that on sundays I start working at noon.. so I woke up again at 10:30 haha and started rushing to get ready and at 11:00 my supervisor called to say that because of the crappy weather the store wont be busy and they only need two people there.. me being the 4th. I shouldn't have woken up at all

	I moved to arizona a didnt realize they don't do the whole daylight savings time thing and I went to school an hour early.
