Hello to all of you,
History I've been programming a 2D platformer couple of months for now. For the beginning, it was supposed to be only test-project that I could use with my other projects, but now it has its own consciousness. My so called "main project" is now taking its time while I'm working on this. I've been developing it almost every day. The Game The game is called Portal Mortal and it can be found from here: http://www.indiedb.com/games/portal-mortal/ You play a role of purple/pink dude/girl/android who just need to go from the beginning till the end. The game is kind of editor to create levels than actual game: It's editor with gaming possibility. No splash screens, no jumping from room to another, nothing. Everything you do, you do in that space. Scroll down to bring block menu, scroll up to bring menu-menu (options, load, save, upload, download, etc). Includes portals! There's plenty of picture and some videos to demonstrate how the game works and looks at the very moment. If you are looking the screens, you can clearly see how my über great paint-skills are not the best ones. Job Offer Job is UNPAID. I'm sorry, but this is not my whole-day work, just a hobby. But don't be sad. I think we can discuss of some compensation. :) But yeah, before thinking which kind of Ferrari you are going to get as a payment, here's what I'm looking for: -Pixel Artist -Likes pastel colors, example: http://i.stack.imgur.com/8jKGx.jpg -No matter if you are student or professional (actually, don't be THAT professional.. those guys costs a bit too much for me). Current sprites are quite horrible to watch a bit longer. I've been thinking something smoother, like pastel colors. Even you can explode into tiny bits all over again, I believe pastils would make it even better. Currently, there's no deadlines, due to the fact this is just a hobby project. I can keep on developing this even without graphical artist, no problem, but if you feel like you could give me a hand, that would be great. Future plan is to release it on Desura, at least. IF someone will ever buy it, you, my upcoming pixel artist, will get your own piece of it, unless we settle it another way. My email is circuitconfusion@gmail.com so feel free to contact me through it or by posting to this thread. If you have account to moddb, indiedb or so, you can contact me there, too. Need more information? Feel free to ask. Cheers, Ismo Edited by IsmoLaitela - 15 August 2013 at 3:27am |
