We are a small partnership in the UK and have been talking about hiring a graphics designer for almost 2 months now. We have approached a few people but received seldom replies.

This is a paid project but it is done on a per-item basis, every piece of artwork provided (a tilemap, single splash art) is judged and then a payment for each item will be discussed based on the time taken to complete it. Generally, you will be looking at £5-15 per tilemap, and £5-10 per piece of splash art.

Typically, you should be able to create high quality pixel art fit for purpose and with consistency of style of quality.
