Dear PixelArt Community,

I am working on a metroidvania style game which is close to completion in terms of engine/map and sound. Unfortunately I am not a graphics designer and no matter how hard I try, my graphics look more or less like placeholders.

I am looking for a dedicated artist, who not only likes to draw, but thinks together with me and gives some input what he/she things might be necessary to bring the game to a next level. I like to work in close collaboration via skype and email. If you are from western Germany and would even like to meet in person this would be prefered but it is not required.

The goal is a greenlight/kickstarter pitch. I have a budget in mind, which I intend to invest before the pitch. I would like to improve the worst things at first and see how far my budget brings me.

I have already uploaded the game to greenlight a few months ago, and got hundreds of comments, but this was in a way to early stage. Around 90% of the comments were negative mainly due to the graphics. I have reworked everything since then - using also nice license free graphics from opengameart - and uploaded an update to greenlight. However, the game was not fresh on greenlight anymore and I only got two comments after this signicant improvement. I am now looking for a complete relaunch, with even more improved, individual and professional graphics while I am working on the rest of the game.

• The main issue at the moment is the main charachter. It should be a bionc mech style warrior, such as Turrican/Contra/MegaMan/Metroid with shooting, jumping, walking and grappling beam animation.
• Other required graphics include the improvement of all existing artwork starting from the worst thing.
• More artwork to come, in case I win the pitch.
