So a little over a year ago, one of my first submissions to PJ was this robot right here:  http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/72574.htm The style is very simple and this was one of my first tries at animation. After taking a bit of a break from pixel art, I've decided to redo some of my old stuff. I figured it would be a great way to see how much I've improved since I started. I know sometimes I was frustrated from feeling like I wasn't improving. Maybe this will help anyone else feeling similar frustration to see that practice pays off.    I think you need at least 3 frames if you're going to add in side-to-side motion.
 LeftDown, MidUp,RightDown. Otherwise he'll look like his neck is very stable, but he's shaking "no, no". I'd also suggest first blocking in the key points (hands, feet,torso) and then adding detail. | |
